Contract General Dentist — Residential Facility, Mexia (Limestone County), TX

We’re looking for a licensed, experienced Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care at a residential facility in Limestone County, Texas. You’ll join a supportive, team-oriented clinical setting and focus on improving and maintaining oral health for residents with intellectual disabilities using safe, evidence-based practices.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver routine, preventive, and advanced dental treatments with an emphasis on safety and best practices.
• Create clear, written treatment plans and document justification for any irreversible procedures.
• Accurately chart care in electronic health and dental records.
• Communicate clinical findings, procedures, and treatment plans clearly to staff, residents, and other stakeholders.
• Work under the supervision of the Dental Director while functioning independently day-to-day and following facility policies.
• Help organize patient records, schedules, and clinical documentation to keep operations running smoothly.

Schedule & compensation

• Contract role, start ASAP after credentialing and required training
• 4-day workweek, 10-hour days (Tuesday–Friday)
• No after-hours call
• $110/hour

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Dentist license from the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners
• Current, unrestricted DEA registration
• National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Proficiency with computers and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Current AHA BLS/CPR certification
• Willingness to complete agency and facility pre-employment training
• Successful completion of drug screening and fingerprint/background checks
• Compliance with agency and facility immunization requirements
