• PACS: System-wide subspecialty support; familiarity with InteleRad, Clario, NovaRad preferred
• Equipment: Radiologist must provide own diagnostic workstation, monitor, and computer
• Staffing: Radiology technologists and support teams available
• Reason for coverage: Ongoing night coverage and expansion across Nevada sites

Required procedures and scope

• Diagnostic interpretation of X‑ray, CT (including CT perfusion), MRI, and ultrasound
• Emergency and outpatient imaging reads
• Phone consultations for ER/outpatient studies as required

Qualifications

• Nevada medical license required (IMLC accepted)
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Facility-required certifications
• Demonstrated ability to sustain high-volume reading in a fast-paced environment
• Must read on Pacific Standard Time

Compensation and scheduling notes

• Weekend coverage available; often paid at higher premium
• All orientation hours billable
• Malpractice covered by facility

Duties and expectations

• Interpret multimodality diagnostic studies during night shifts
• Meet productivity targets (~80–100 wRVUs per 8-hour shift)
• Provide timely, accurate reads for ED and outpatient cases
• Collaborate with referring physicians and radiology teams across sites
• Use PACS, dictation, AI tools, and Cerner for documentation and workflow efficiency
