Join a busy outpatient rheumatology practice in Portland, OR, providing locum tenens coverage to supplement an established group. Coverage begins May 1, 2026 and is ongoing.

Schedule and Clinical Details

• Setting: Outpatient adult rheumatology
• Coverage type: Clinical only, supplemental
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; 4–5 days per week, 1–2 weeks per month
• Patient volume: 12–16 patients per day (1–2 patients/hour)
• Case mix: ~50% arthritis, ~50% autoimmune
• Procedures: Intravenous therapy (infusion available)
• Exam rooms: 2; Infusion rooms: 20
• Onsite X-ray and lab; EMR: Epic
• Hospital privileges required

Team and Support

• Group: 6 physicians in practice
• Support staff: 4 MAs, 4 LPNs, 5 schedulers, 9 additional office staff

Requirements and Credentials

• Active OR medical license or willingness to obtain
• Board certified or board eligible (if BE, within 5 years of residency)
• BLS certification
• Local or drive-in candidates highly preferred
