Required qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Cardiac cath lab, cardiac care, or critical care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, organization, and communication skills

Core responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and assist during procedures
• Monitor and record vital signs and cardiac status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Administer medications and contrast agents per orders and monitor effects
• Provide patient and family education on procedure, recovery, and follow-up care
• Accurately document care, procedural details, and patient outcomes
• Communicate and collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and the multidisciplinary care team
