Join a busy inpatient emergency team in Port Charlotte, FL, covering supplemental shifts starting March 1, 2026, with ongoing assignments. You’ll work clinical-only shifts across the 24-hour cycle (6a–3p, 1p–10p, and 9p–6a) in a 34-bed emergency department that sees about 30,000 visits annually (average patient volume 2 at a time). Hospitalists manage admissions, and you’ll be supported by a strong midlevel and nursing staff: 5 NPs/PAs, 2 RNs, 2 MAs, and 2 office staff.
We use Epic for charting, temporary privileges are available, and the assignment includes travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida medical license or participation in the IMLC
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Current ACLS
