Travel RN – Emergency Room (Night) | Newport, VT | Contract (36-hr)

Join a busy emergency department in Newport, VT on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This night-shift role (36-hour schedule) offers $2,308 per 36 hours.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Emergency room experience or background in acute care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and/or TNCC preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and perform initial assessments for patients on arrival
• Deliver medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as indicated
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and promptly notify physicians and team members
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records
• Provide patient and family education on treatments and follow-up plans
• Contribute to departmental quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives
