Travel RN – Emergency Room (Night Shift) — State College, PA

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join an Emergency Department team in State College, PA on a contract/travel basis. This is a nights position (6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m.), available ASAP, offering $2,005 for a 36-hour shift. If you’re confident in fast-paced acute care, enjoy hands-on patient work, and communicate clearly under pressure, this could be a great fit.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• ER experience or a strong acute care background preferred.
• Solid clinical skills, critical thinking, and clear communication.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC certifications are preferred.

What you’ll do:

• Triage and assess patients as they arrive, prioritizing care needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions.
• Continuously monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the care team.
• Keep thorough, accurate documentation of care and patient records.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and follow-up instructions.
• Engage in quality improvement and safety initiatives within the ER.

Shift: Nights (6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m.)
