Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room | State College, PA (36-hr Days Contract)

Join a dynamic Emergency Department team in State College, PA on a contract/travel basis. This day shift position (6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.) offers a 36-hour schedule with a pay rate of $1,930 per 36 hours. Start date: ASAP.

Core qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Emergency room or acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred

Key responsibilities:

• Triage and assess patients on arrival, prioritizing care based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as indicated
• Continuously monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the care team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments and interventions
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
• Participate in ER quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
