Join a growing Gastroenterology program in Blackfoot, ID, delivering outpatient and hospital-based endoscopy services in a referral-rich region. This full-time, permanent position combines Monday–Friday clinic and procedural duties with light on-call responsibilities (schedule determined with leadership). Flexibility in scheduling is available to meet program needs.

Clinical scope and practice

  • Adult and geriatric patient population with high procedural and clinic demand
  • Provide full-spectrum gastroenterology care, including evaluation, inpatient consults, follow-up, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and additional procedures aligned with your training and interests
  • Collaborative practice with primary care, anesthesia, surgery, radiology, and specialty teams
  • Participate in program development, quality initiatives, and service-line growth

Facility and team

  • Practice within a Critical Access Hospital integrated with outpatient GI services and established transfer pathways
  • Modern EMR with streamlined workflows
  • Experienced nursing and clinical support, anesthesia coverage, and engaged administrative leadership
  • Report to the Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer

Credentials and compliance

  • BC/BE in Gastroenterology required
  • Eligibility for Idaho medical licensure
  • Active DEA, BLS and ACLS required
  • Credentialing timeline approximately 60–90 days

Compensation and benefits

  • Nationally competitive base salary with no-cap productivity bonuses and quality-based incentives
  • $40,000 relocation assistance
  • Potential eligibility for federal and state loan repayment programs
  • $5,000 annual CME allowance and 40 hours CME time
  • 160 hours PTO plus standard holidays

Qualifications and attributes

  • Board certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology
