Emergency RN – State College, PA (Travel Contract, Evenings, $2,005/36h)

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join an Emergency Department team in State College, PA on a contract/travel basis. Start date is ASAP, and the position offers evening shifts (10:45 a.m.–11:15 p.m. or 2:45 p.m.–3:15 a.m.). This is a 36-hour assignment with a rate of $2,005 per 36 hours.

What you’ll bring

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• ER experience is preferred; strong acute care background will also be considered
• Solid clinical skills, sharp critical thinking, and clear communication
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred

What you’ll do

• Triage and assess patients as they arrive to prioritize care
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as needed
• Continuously monitor patients and promptly report changes to physicians and the care team
• Keep accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans
• Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives within the ER
