• Jan 6–12, 20–26
• Feb 3–9, 17–23
• Mar 3–9, Mar 17
• Apr 6, Apr 14–20, Apr 28
• May 4

Call schedule and format:

• 24-hour beeper call
• 7 days on / 7 days off

Clinical duties:

• Inpatient GI ("bread-and-butter" consults and management)
• ED consults and admissions (approx. 10 admissions/night)
• Rounding included
• ERCP and standard endoscopic procedures

Typical patient volume:

• 10–20 patients

Support and systems:

• 3 APPs on service
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital privileges required

Coverage provided:

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active KY medical license or participation in IMLC
• BC/BE in Gastroenterology
• ACLS certification
• DEA registration
• Clean professional record
