Type: Locum Tenens — Clinical only
Coverage Period: February 2, 2026 – ongoing (Feb through July 2026)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch); two weeks per month

Overview
Provide on-site general radiology coverage supporting the emergency department and imaging center. Expect a high-volume ER caseload with occasional basic fluoroscopy procedures. Remote reading is not permitted.

Clinical Duties

• Interpret general diagnostic radiology studies accurately and efficiently for adult patients
• Perform basic fluoroscopy as required
• Respond to ER phone consults and collaborate closely with onsite radiology and clinical teams
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation

Volume & Case Mix

• Adult patient population
• Approximately 70–80 reads per day for locum providers (typical ER general radiology mix with occasional fluoroscopy)

Facility & Support

• On-site diagnostic imaging equipment and technologists
• Permanent radiology team available for specialty backup
• Clinical support staff onsite

Credentials & Requirements

• Active Arizona medical license (IMLC accepted)
• Board Certified in Radiology
• Active DEA registration
• BLS certification
• Experience with ER general radiology required
• Must provide on-site coverage (no remote reading)

• Hospital privileges required
• All orientation hours billable
• Malpractice insurance provided
