Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (Days) — Hilo, HI (Contract)

Assignment: Contract / Travel — Start: ASAP
Shift: Days (40 hours/week)
Rate: $2,144 per 40 hours

Required qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS certification
• ER experience or acute care background preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred

Core responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients on arrival; prioritize acuity and initiate appropriate care
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocol
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and communicate promptly with physicians and team members
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and follow-up instructions
• Participate in emergency department quality improvement and safety initiatives
