Travel RN – Endoscopy (Days) | Danbury CT – $2,434/36-hr Contract, BLS (ACLS Preferred)

Join a contract/travel team in Danbury, CT, providing day-shift endoscopy nursing on a 36-hour schedule. Assignment starts ASAP; compensation is $2,434 per 36-hour period.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Prior experience in endoscopy, perioperative, or procedural nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-education skills.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Core responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and the endoscopy suite for procedures, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready.
• Monitor and assess patient status and vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications, sedation, and ordered interventions safely and according to protocol.
• Provide clear education to patients and families about the procedure, recovery expectations, and post-procedure care.
• Accurately document care and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes.
