We’re seeking a locum tenens Interventional Radiologist to join a team in Chambersburg, PA, covering both inpatient and outpatient services. This is supplemental clinical coverage from March 2–June 30, 2026, with a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.). Expect to cover at least two weeks per month, with the option for more.

What you’ll do

• Provide procedural care and consults (you won’t be expected to read routine diagnostic studies).
• Supervise APPs (the practice currently has 1 physician and 2 APPs).
• Perform a broad mix of vascular, non-vascular, and image-guided procedures (see list below).

Key procedures and skills expected

• Vascular & Interventional Neuro procedures (head)
• Diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, including venous and arterial stenting, thrombolytic and embolization therapy
• Vascular access devices/PICCs, IVC filters, and TIPS
• General CT, angiography, biopsies, aspirations/drainages, plain films, and fluoroscopic studies (including barium GI)
• MRI: general, musculoskeletal, neuro, joint MSK, and MRA studies
• Non-vascular interventions: percutaneous drain/tube placements, dilatation/stent procedures, needle biopsies above and below the diaphragm and in bone
• Biliary and renal extractions; percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography
• Additional procedures: abscess drainage, hysterosalpingogram, thoracentesis, paracentesis, myelography, pain management procedures, etc.
• Ultrasound: general abdominal/pelvic/thyroid and advanced ultrasound-guided procedures
• Nuclear medicine: general studies including musculoskeletal, cardiac function, thyroid therapy, and SPECT

Logistics and support

• EMR: Epic
• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania medical license
• Board certified in Interventional Radiology
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
