Contract LPN – Concord, NH | Start: ASAP | Duration: 14 weeks | Nights 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | Local rate: $1,451/36 hours

Overview:
Provide direct patient care in a clinical setting under RN or physician supervision. Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted LPN license for the state of New Hampshire
  • BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver bedside nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and monitoring of vital signs
  • Conduct focused patient assessments (physical exam, history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications accurately, following protocols and safety checks
  • Assess, clean, dress, and document wounds; monitor for infection or complications
  • Insert, monitor, and maintain IV lines and urinary catheters; recognize and report issues promptly
  • Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing and ensure proper handling
  • Accurately record patient status, interventions, and changes in condition in the medical record
  • Provide patient and family education on conditions, medications, and self-care to promote recovery and wellness
  • Support patient comfort, mobility, and pain management; assist with positioning and activities of daily living as needed
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, providing basic life support and following facility protocols
  • Follow infection control standards, proper PPE use, and safe handling/disposal of medications and supplies
  • Advocate for patient needs and coordinate care with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff
  • May supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned
  • Maintain professional development and stay current with nursing standards and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
