Job Description

We’re looking for a licensed Psychologist to join a team in Pittsburgh, PA, delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health and social-emotional support for children ages Birth to Five and their families within early childhood education settings. You’ll provide direct interventions, assessments, consultation, and training while collaborating with educators, administrators, and community partners to promote healthy development and meet federal, state, and district requirements. What we’re looking for

  • Current Pennsylvania license as a Psychologist
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Resume showing relevant education, licensure, and experience providing mental health services to young children and families

What you’ll do

  • Provide individual consultations and mental health interventions for children (Birth to Five) and their families
  • Conduct screenings, comprehensive child assessments, and evaluations to guide service planning and referrals
  • Make referrals for additional mental health evaluation or community-based supports as needed
  • Work closely with early childhood educators, administrators, families, and community partners to support children’s social-emotional growth
  • Support implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of evidence-based parenting curricula
  • Facilitate professional development and training for staff and caregivers (virtual and/or in-person)
  • Deliver trauma-sensitive, culturally responsive care that honors family and community contexts
  • Participate in multi-tiered systems of support, including consultation, team-based problem solving, and crisis intervention/prevention
  • Keep timely, accurate documentation and reports in line with grant and program standards
  • Protect confidentiality and data security in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA
  • Use district-approved electronic systems and devices for documentation and reporting
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality to ensure continuity of services
  • Perform other duties as assigned
