Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) — Contract LVN for Residential Living Center in Denton, TX

Join a supportive team at a state-supported residential living center in Denton County, Texas, where you’ll provide compassionate nursing care to adults with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs. This contract position (6 months) offers steady shifts and hands-on work in a residential setting.

What you’ll do

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and treatments.
• Offer medication education to residents and maintain accurate documentation.
• Monitor and support residents’ overall health and welfare.
• Complete electronic documentation and computer data entry (training provided).
• Follow applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational policies.

What we’re looking for

• Current, unencumbered Texas LVN license.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Willingness and ability to meet facility and agency immunization requirements.
• Ability to complete required drug screening and fingerprinting.
• Availability to start any day of the week; please allow at least five days before your start date to finish pre-employment processing.
• Completion of all required facility and agency training.
