Seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate a lactation consultant program on a contract/travel basis in Pittsfield, MA. Assignment begins ASAP. Day shift, 8-hour shifts, no regular weekends (holiday rotation required). Compensation: $2,368 per 40-hour week.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver inpatient lactation services and support
- Provide outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultations, and teaching
- Collaborate with clinical teams to integrate lactation best practices and documentation
Required qualifications:
- Active IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant); no equivalent certifications accepted
- Minimum 2,500 hours of experience as a breastfeeding consultant
- Experience with inpatient lactation programs and outpatient prenatal/postpartum education/consultations
- Massachusetts RN license in good standing
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Board certification documentation and all required certifications must be in hand at start
- Permanent address on file
- Must have personal vehicle for assignment
Preferred:
- Experience with Meditech Expanse
