Rate: Local: $1,012 / 36 hours

Minimum Requirements:

• Active LPN license in state of practice
• BLS certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician direction: medication administration, wound care, vital signs, and basic treatments.
• Perform focused patient assessments (physical exam, history, medication review) and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders; ensure accurate dosing and documentation.
• Assess, clean, dress, and monitor wounds/incisions for infection or complications.
• Obtain and document vital signs and changes in patient condition.
• Collect and prepare patient samples (blood, urine, sputum) for testing.
• Initiate, monitor, and maintain IV therapy as allowed by facility policy.
• Care for and monitor patients with urinary catheters.
• Maintain accurate, timely charting of care, treatments, and observations.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, self-care, and preventive measures.
• Assist with patient mobility, positioning, comfort, and pain management.
• Respond to emergencies using established protocols and provide basic life support as needed.
• Follow infection control practices and proper use/disposal of PPE, medications, and supplies.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and support staff to coordinate care.
• Supervise CNAs/UAPs when assigned and ensure delegated tasks are completed safely.
• Participate in required training and maintain current knowledge of nursing standards.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
