Travel LPN/LVN – Long Term Care (Camden, ME) 14-Week Contract

Join us in Camden, ME for a 14-week contract/travel opportunity starting ASAP. This role follows a full-week schedule (Sun–Sat) from 06:45 AM–07:15 PM. The travel rate is $1,649/36-hours.

What we need from you

• An active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
• BLS certification

What you’ll do
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians. Typical duties include medication administration, wound care, IV and catheter management, and regular monitoring of vitals. You’ll perform patient assessments, document changes in condition and treatments, collect samples for lab testing, and educate patients and families about conditions and self-care. You’ll also help maintain infection control standards, safely handle meds and supplies, and respond to emergencies with basic life support when needed.

How you’ll work with the team
You’ll collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs and other support staff to ensure seamless care. In some situations you may supervise CNAs or other unlicensed assistive personnel to help deliver high-quality patient care.

• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
• Promote preventive care and patient advocacy
• Stay current with nursing practices and complete required training
• Follow facility policies and infection control procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
