Schedule: Daily rotation; 06:45 AM–07:15 PM | Rate: Travel $1,649/36-hours

Requirements:

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the appropriate state
• BLS certification

Overview:
Provide direct patient care under RN or physician supervision in a fast-paced clinical setting. Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing interventions, accurate documentation, and clear communication with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct focused assessments, obtain medical history, and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders, ensuring correct dosing and documentation.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient status; report changes promptly.
• Perform wound care, dressings, and infection surveillance.
• Insert, monitor, and maintain IV lines and urinary catheters as required.
• Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
• Provide patient and family education on conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, comfort measures, and basic pain management.
• Respond to emergencies and provide BLS as needed.
• Follow infection control protocols and safe medication/supply handling and disposal.
• Advocate for patient needs and promote preventive care measures.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned.
• Maintain professional development and comply with regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
