Rate: Local: $1,220 / 36 hours

Required:

• Active LPN license for the state of practice
• BLS certification

Core responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician direction: med administration, wound care, vital signs.
• Conduct patient assessments (physical exam, history, medication review) and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and per protocols.
• Evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor wounds/incisions for infection or complications.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate patient records of care, treatments, and medications.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, self-care, and preventive measures.
• Start, maintain, and monitor IVs and IV medications as indicated.
• Provide catheter care: insertion, maintenance, and monitoring for complications.
• Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for lab testing.
• Assist with patient comfort, positioning, mobility, and pain management.
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support per protocol.
• Follow infection control procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies safely and per regulations.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other staff to coordinate care.
• May supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
