LPN/LVN — Licensed Practical Nurse (Long Term Care) — Clovis, NM — 13-Week Contract — Nights

Join a 13-week contract (non-travel) opportunity in Clovis, NM. Start ASAP. Schedule: Sun, Fri, Sat, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM. Local rate: $1,242/36 hours.

Minimum requirements:

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
• BLS certification

Role overview:
Provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians. You will perform assessments, administer medications and treatments, monitor patients, and document care while following established protocols and infection-control practices.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments (physical exams, histories, medication reviews) and contribute to individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments with accurate dosing and documentation
• Perform wound care, catheter care, and monitor for complications or infection
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in patient condition
• Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing
• Support patient comfort, mobility, and pain management; provide patient and family education
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support as needed
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of medications and supplies
• Follow infection control and PPE protocols at all times
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and, when appropriate, supervise CNAs or other assistive personnel
• Promote preventive care and advocate for patients’ rights and needs
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current with nursing practices
• Other duties as assigned by management

This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced care setting.
