Travel RN – Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing (7a–7p) — Harvard, IL (Contract)

Join our team in Harvard, IL as a Registered Nurse (Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing) on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This day shift role (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) is a 36-hour weekly schedule with a pay rate of $1,804 per 36 hours.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage care for multiple residents.
• Preferred: experience with geriatric and chronic care populations and familiarity with MDS documentation and care planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor resident health status, recognizing and reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation.
• Educate residents and families on care plans and health management.
• Uphold safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
