Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) — State College, PA — Night Shift (36-hr Contract)

We’re looking for an experienced Medical-Surgical RN to join a team in State College, PA on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This is a night shift role (6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m.) with a 36-hour assignment paying $1,930.

What you’ll bring

• Active RN license in the state where you’ll be practicing.
• Medical-surgical experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred depending on the patient population.

What you’ll do

• Regularly assess and monitor patients, including vital signs and changing conditions.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions.
• Document care accurately and escalate concerns to the healthcare team as needed.
• Teach patients and families about care plans and self-care after discharge.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient care.
