Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) – Long Term Care (Contract, Laconia NH)

We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a team in Laconia, NH for a 9-week contract starting ASAP. This is a local, non-travel assignment with a schedule of 07:00 AM–07:30 PM and a pay rate of $1,094 per 36 hours.

What you’ll need

• Active, valid LPN license for the state of New Hampshire
• BLS certification

What you’ll do
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians. That includes medication administration, wound care, IV and catheter care, vital sign monitoring, and routine assessments to help create and adjust individualized care plans. You’ll document patient status and interventions accurately, collect samples for lab testing, and ensure medications and supplies are handled and disposed of safely.

You’ll also support patient comfort and safety—helping with positioning, mobility, and pain management—and educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care. During emergencies, you’ll respond quickly following established protocols and provide basic life support when needed. Infection control and PPE use are part of everyday practice.

Collaboration is key: you’ll work closely with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care, and you may sometimes supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel to maintain quality care. You’re expected to stay current with nursing best practices through ongoing training. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
