Travel RN – Medical-Surgical Nights (Carbondale, IL)

Rate: $2,052 per 36 hours

Required qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (based on patient population)
• Medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills

Key responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions and vital signs on an ongoing basis
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions
• Accurately document care and report changes in patient status to the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families about care plans and self-management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
