Shift: 03:00 PM–11:00 PM
Rate: Local: $1,472 / 40 hours

Minimum requirements:

  • Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for the practicing state
  • BLS certification

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician guidance: medication administration, wound care, vital signs, basic treatments
  • Perform focused patient assessments (physical, history, medication review) to support individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately, following protocols and documentation requirements
  • Manage wounds and dressings; monitor for infection and complications
  • Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records of assessments, interventions, and medication administration
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, self-care, and discharge instructions
  • Administer and monitor IV medications and fluids; ensure proper IV line function (as allowed by facility policy)
  • Manage urinary catheters (insertion, maintenance, monitoring) per protocol
  • Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for lab testing
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care
  • Assist with patient comfort, positioning, mobility, and pain management
  • Respond to emergencies according to protocols and provide basic life support when required
  • Follow infection control procedures and use PPE appropriately
  • Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies per regulations
  • Promote preventive care (vaccinations, screenings) and support health assessments
  • Advocate for patient rights and appropriate care
  • Supervise CNAs/UAPs when assigned and ensure quality of care
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management

Licensure, certifications, and facility policies must be maintained throughout the assignment.
