Schedule: Thu, Fri, Sat | 06:00 AM–06:30 PM
Rate: Local: $1,012 / 36 hours

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active LPN license for the state of New Mexico
  • BLS certification

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician supervision (medication administration, wound care, vital signs).
  • Perform patient assessments (physical exam, history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately, following orders and protocols.
  • Evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor wounds/incisions for infection or complications.
  • Monitor and document vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respirations) and changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate patient records of assessments, treatments, and medications.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, self-care, and preventive measures.
  • Administer and monitor IV medications/fluids; ensure proper IV line function and care.
  • Provide urinary catheter care (insertion, maintenance, monitoring for complications).
  • Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care.
  • Assist with patient positioning, mobility, comfort, and pain management.
  • Respond to emergencies per protocol and provide basic life support as needed.
  • Adhere to infection control practices and proper use of PPE.
  • Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and medical supplies per regulations.
  • Advocate for patient rights and needs; support access to appropriate care.
  • Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned.
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing education and training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
