Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) — School Contract in Killeen, TX | $35/hr, Mon–Fri, Pediatric & Screening Role

Adelphi is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse to deliver school-based nursing services at a Killeen, Texas campus. This contract position is Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week) at $35/hr. The nurse will work with school leadership to provide care that follows local and professional standards.

Requirements:

• Active LVN license
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Certifications: Spinal screening, hearing screening, vision screening, and CPR

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and document injuries and illnesses; provide first aid and emergency care
• Manage chronic conditions and administer medications per protocol
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
• Perform SPED and Texas DSHS hearing and vision screenings
• Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, and administrators
• Implement exclusion procedures for illness and communicable disease
• Travel between campuses as needed and perform other assigned duties
