Travel RN – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (State College, PA)

We’re looking for a registered nurse to join a medical-surgical/telemetry unit in State College, PA on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This role follows a night shift schedule (6:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.) and pays $1,930 for a 36-hour workweek.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including continuous cardiac telemetry.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation and promptly report any changes in patient status to the care team.
• Teach patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other team members to coordinate care and support positive outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license in the state where you’ll be practicing.
• Prior med-surg or telemetry experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational abilities, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred for telemetry/cardiac settings.
