Requirements:

- BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred
- Previous OB and/or Med Surg experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to obstetric and medical-surgical patients
- Perform maternal and newborn assessments
- Monitor fetal heart tones and patient vital signs
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Assist with labor support and postpartum care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans
- Document care accurately in the EMR
