Overview:
Registered Nurse needed for Obstetrics contract/travel assignment in Atlantic, IA. Start: ASAP. Shift: Nights. Assignment type: Contract/Travel.
Details:

Minimum Requirements:
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- Experience in obstetrics, labor & delivery, or postpartum care preferred
- Strong clinical skills, effective communication, and patient education ability
- BLS and NRP required; ACLS preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Provide labor support, assist with deliveries, and manage postpartum care
- Administer medications and clinical interventions; perform newborn assessments
- Educate patients and families on prenatal, labor, postpartum, and newborn care
- Accurately document care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
