Join a mission-driven team in Blackfoot, Idaho, providing outpatient neurology care within a nonprofit critical access hospital. This is a permanent, full-time role with a flexible, predictable clinic schedule serving mostly adults and geriatric patients, with occasional adolescent visits as appropriate. You’ll work in a referral-rich region with steady outpatient demand.

What you’ll do

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient neurology care, diagnosing and managing a wide range of conditions including headaches, neuropathy, movement and cognitive disorders, seizure management, and general neurology.
• Coordinate consults and follow-ups with primary care and specialty teams to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
• Build a clinic schedule that fits your preferred workflow and patient mix.
• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation and support quality improvement and program development efforts.

The team and environment

• Work out of an outpatient neurology clinic on a CAH medical campus with an efficient EMR that supports streamlined workflows.
• Collaborate with onsite and regional specialties including primary care, imaging, pain management, orthopedics, and rheumatology.
• Rely on a dedicated outpatient neurology team, experienced nursing staff, and proactive administrative leadership.
• You’ll report to the Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer. This opening is due to program growth and expansion.

Requirements

• BC/BE in Neurology.
• Eligibility for Idaho medical licensure.
• Active DEA registration and BLS required.
• Outpatient neurology experience preferred but new graduates are welcome.
• EMR proficiency, strong communication skills, and a commitment to team-based, patient-centered care.
• Typical credentialing timeline: approximately 60–90 days.

Compensation and benefits
