Requirements:
- Active RN license in practicing state
- Perioperative/OR nursing experience preferred
- BLS required; CNOR or other specialty certifications preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients, instruments, and OR environment for surgery
- Serve as circulating nurse or scrub tech as assigned; assist surgical team
- Monitor patient status and administer medications per protocol
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to policies and safety standards
- Accurately document surgical care and relevant charting
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient and family education
