Join a team providing inpatient, day-case anesthesia coverage in Iron River and Neenah, Michigan. This locum tenens opportunity offers supplemental clinical-only coverage with temporary privileges available. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
Location & Coverage
- Iron River, MI: ASAP start, ongoing; 10-hour day shift, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Neenah, MI: Jan 1, 2026 – Feb 27, 2026; Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Clinical Setting & Volume
- Service setting: Inpatient/day surgical (outpatient only)
- Patient population: Adults
- Patient volume: Iron River 2–8 cases/day; Neenah 6–8 cases/day
- ORs/beds: 1 OR, 1 bed in department
- Trauma designation: Level IV
- Support: One OR team on-site each day
- Schedule notes: Surgeries typically do not begin after 3:00 PM; cases generally finish before 3:00 PM; no overnight surgical care
Clinical Responsibilities & Required Skills
- Administer general anesthesia for adults
- Regional anesthesia, including spinal techniques
- Provide perioperative anesthesia care in a single-OR environment
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active Michigan nursing license
- Board-certified or board-eligible in nurse anesthesia (BC/BE)
- ACLS and BLS certification
