Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (Perioperative) — Vail, CO (Contract)

Join a fast-paced surgical team in Vail, CO as a contracted Registered Nurse. This rotating-shift role is available ASAP and pays $2,342 per 32-hour period. You’ll work in the operating room setting, supporting surgical cases by preparing patients and the environment, assisting the team during procedures, and helping ensure safe, efficient care from pre-op through recovery.

What you’ll bring:

• An active RN license in the state where you’ll practice.
• Perioperative or OR nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication.
• BLS is required; CNOR or other specialty certifications are a plus.

What you’ll do day to day:

• Prepare patients, instruments, and the OR for surgery and maintain a sterile field.
• Serve as a circulating nurse or scrub tech during procedures, assisting the surgical team as needed.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications per protocol, and document all care thoroughly.
• Follow and enforce surgical protocols and safety standards.
• Provide education to patients and families about pre- and post-operative care.
