Travel Obstetrics RN (L&D & Postpartum) – Hilo, HI (Contract)

Join a supportive team in Hilo, HI as a contract RN working in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care. This role starts ASAP, offers varied shifts, and pays $1,879 per 36-hour period.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Provide hands-on labor support, assist with deliveries, and manage immediate postpartum care.
• Administer medications and necessary interventions, and perform thorough postpartum assessments.
• Teach and coach new parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and recovery at home.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license in the state where you’ll practice.
• Experience in L&D, postpartum, or obstetrics is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and the ability to educate patients and families.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS preferred.
