Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Perioperative or surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS. CNOR or other perioperative certifications preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready and sterile.
• Circulate during surgery: monitor patient status, assist the surgical team, and maintain sterile technique.
• Administer medications and document all medications and interventions accurately.
• Accurately document intraoperative care, surgical details, and patient outcomes in the medical record.
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient and family education.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to support safe, efficient care.
