Outpatient Occupational Therapist (Days) — Alpena, MI | OTR/NBCOT, Full-Time, Day Shift

Join a welcoming outpatient team in Alpena, MI. This full-time, daytime role runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (8-hour shift) with an average of one weekend per month. We’re ready for someone to start ASAP.

What we’re looking for

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) with NBCOT certification.
• Bachelor’s degree required. New grads are welcome; candidates with more than one year of experience are preferred.
• BLS certification required within one month of hire.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English—both verbal and written—with patients, families and team members at all levels.
• Strong organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and take initiative.
• Comfortable working in environments where exposure to communicable diseases is possible and able to use personal protective equipment correctly.
• Willingness to complete OSHA training annually per the Exposure Control Plan.
• Ability to demonstrate and teach treatment routines to both professional and non-professional caregivers.
• AOTA membership is a plus.
