PACU Registered Nurse (RN) — Contract/Travel | Hilo, HI | Immediate Start

We’re looking for an experienced RN to join a PACU team in Hilo, HI on a contract/travel basis. This role starts ASAP, covers varied shifts, and pays $2,144 for a 40-hour week.

What you’ll do

• Care for patients immediately after procedures: monitor vitals, airway, and overall status in the recovery period.
• Administer medications and manage pain and other prescribed interventions.
• Quickly recognize and respond to changes in condition or complications.
• Provide clear discharge teaching and post-procedure instructions to patients and their families.
• Accurately document care and collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license in the state where you’ll be practicing.
• Experience in PACU, post-anesthesia, or perioperative nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills, plus excellent communication.
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred.
