- Strong clinical assessment, patient education, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care in an outpatient setting.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status before, during, and after procedures.
- Assist surgeons and procedural teams during operative cases.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on procedure preparation, recovery, and post-op care.
- Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
