Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) — Stockton, CA (13-week Travel Assignment)

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a team in Stockton, CA on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role follows a regular daytime schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and offers competitive pay—Travel: $2,121/35-hours; Local: $2,090/35-hours.

What you’ll bring

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED).

What you’ll do
You’ll assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and their environments to pinpoint limitations and set meaningful goals. Working closely with patients and the care team, you’ll develop tailored treatment plans and use a variety of therapeutic techniques to boost independence in daily living and community/work reintegration. You’ll recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment, teach and practice everyday tasks, and educate patients and families on strategies for managing conditions and increasing independence. Ongoing assessment and accurate documentation of progress are key—expect to update plans as needs change and to communicate findings with a multidisciplinary team. You’ll also stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
