Travel RN Perioperative (Outpatient) – State College, PA (Days, Mon–Fri)

Location: State College, PA
Assignment: Contract/Travel — Start ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:15 AM–2:45 PM (Days)
Hours/Rate: 40 hours/week — $2,144/40-hrs

Required credentials

• Active RN license (PA or compact as applicable)
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred
• Perioperative or outpatient surgical experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, patient education, and communication skills

Core responsibilities

• Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care in an outpatient surgical setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Assist surgeons and procedural teams during operative cases; maintain sterile field and safe environment
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor patient responses
• Educate patients and families on procedure preparation, recovery, and post-op care instructions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
