Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — 13-Week Contract in Kennebunk, ME

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a team in Kennebunk, ME on a 13-week contract beginning ASAP. This is a daytime role (typically 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with competitive pay: Travel rate $1,995/35-hours or Local rate $1,967/35-hours.

What you’ll be doing

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and evaluate their environments to identify limitations and set realistic goals.
• Work with patients and the broader healthcare team to design individualized treatment plans.
• Use a variety of therapeutic approaches to help patients regain or improve daily living skills and independence.
• Recommend and instruct on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach and rehearse activities of daily living (ADLs) to improve functional outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on strategies for independence and ongoing condition management.
• Monitor progress closely, document changes, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, timely records including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge planning.
• Support patients’ transitions back to their communities and workplaces.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

What you need

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED).
