Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — 13-Week Contract in Rutland, VT • $1,930/36 hrs

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a team in Rutland, VT on a 13-week contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. The schedule is weekdays, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM. Compensation: Travel rate $1,930/36-hour week; Local rate $1,901/36-hour week.

What you’ll need

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy state license
• Current CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross, including AED)

What you’ll do

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and review their environments to pinpoint limitations and set meaningful goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans alongside patients and the care team.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to boost independence with daily living skills.
• Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach and practice everyday activities to help patients regain or improve function.
• Educate patients and families about condition management and strategies to increase independence.
• Regularly evaluate and document progress, updating plans as needed.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, thorough records including evaluations and progress notes.
• Support patients’ transitions back to community and workplace settings.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
