Join a contract/travel team in Meeker, CO (start ASAP) providing perioperative and PACU care for orthopedic surgical patients. This day-shift assignment totals 36 hours at $2,308 and requires an RN licensed in the practicing state.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in practicing state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Prior perioperative or PACU experience preferred
• Familiarity with orthopedic procedures and standards of care
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Key responsibilities:

• Perform thorough preoperative assessments and prepare orthopedic patients for surgery
• Monitor postoperative patients in PACU, including vital signs, pain control, and anesthesia recovery
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and document all care accurately
• Provide clear patient and family education on postoperative care, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations
• Adhere to infection control practices, safety protocols, and facility policies
