Occupational Therapist (Contract/Travel) — Pleasant Hill, CA (14-week)

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Pleasant Hill, CA on a 14‑week contract. This role starts ASAP and follows an 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule. Travel rate: $2,308/36 hours; Local rate: $2,275/36 hours.

What you’ll do

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and evaluate their environments to identify limitations and set realistic goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the broader healthcare team.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help patients regain or improve daily living skills and independence.
• Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach and practice everyday tasks to build functional capabilities.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies to support independence.
• Routinely monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including evaluations and progress notes.
• Support patients’ transitions back into their communities and workplaces.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy license for the state.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).
