Minimum requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS required
• PCU/Step-Down or Critical Care experience preferred
• ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, organizational, and communication skills

Core responsibilities:

• Monitor patient status and vital signs; recognize and respond to clinical changes
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely and according to policy
• Initiate escalation of care and coordinate interventions as needed
• Provide patient and family education on condition and care plans
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the chart
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
